Apple today released the third beta of an upcoming macOS Monterey 12.5 update to developers for testing, with the new update coming two weeks after the release of the second macOS Monterey 12.5 beta.

Registered developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center and once the appropriate profile is installed, betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.

It’s not yet known what new features or changes might be included in ‌macOS Monterey‌ 12.5, and nothing new has been found in the first two betas. It is likely that this update will focus on bug fixes and other minor operating system improvements.

‌macOS Monterey‌ 12.5 might be one of the last updates on the ‌macOS Monterey‌ website as Apple is now focusing on macOS Ventura, the next-generation Mac operating system coming this fall.
