Microsoft’s predecessor Surface Pro 8 on sale for $ 550 right now

Most of Microsoft’s new Surface hardware line will begin shipping tomorrow, October 5, 2021. The Surface Pro 8, Surface Go 3, and Surface Laptop Studio will all be available from multiple retailers. With new hardware from Microsoft on the horizon, the previous generation of Surface hardware is now on sale. You can buy a Surface Pro 7 for as little as $ 550 from Microsoft.

While the Surface Pro 8 improves on its predecessor in several areas, the Surface Pro 7 remains a good device. It earned a spot on our list of the best Windows 10 tablets and has held that spot for months thanks to its sleek design and versatile form factor.

The Surface Pro 7 is a 2-in-1 device that can be used as a tablet or a PC. You can usually go an entire day with the Surface Pro 7’s battery, which can last up to 10.5 hours. It also has a USB-C port which makes it easy to attach accessories and dongles.

Microsoft’s current deal isn’t quite the best price we’ve seen for the Surface Pro 7, but it’s close. Last week, Best Buy struck a deal that took the Surface Pro 7 to $ 500, though that deal has since expired. Note that the offer in the Microsoft Store doesn’t come with a Type Cover, so you’ll need to purchase one along with any other Surface accessories you want.

The Surface Pro 7 ships with Windows 10, but it will receive a free upgrade to Windows 11, which begins rolling out on October 5, 2021.
