TIBCO Software recently announced a series of updates to TIBCO Connect, the company’s portfolio of cloud, data and application integration software. Unveiled at its annual TIBCO NOW user conference, the launch brings new updates to integration, API management and messaging. New automation capabilities allow a wide variety of business users to accelerate and automate key processes and workflows. TIBCO has also made major enhancements to its data analysis product line and suite of data management solutions.

TIBCO’s flagship Integration Platform as a Service product, TIBCO Cloud Integration, requires no code. It also allows users to build, model, and deploy APIs in a fully guided process. TIBCO acquired Scribe Software in June 2018 and integrated its capabilities with TIBCO Cloud Integration as a free package. TIBCO offers a fully integrated data platform that can handle a variety of data integration use cases. The company’s acquisition of data virtualization technologies from Cisco further complements its product portfolio.

Building on TIBCO Cloud Mashery, TIBCO’s new Cloud API Management evolves API management to manage the value delivered by an enterprise expressed as APIs and provides full API lifecycle management. TIBCO Cloud API Management, along with new innovations improving the developer pipeline and a new visual editor for API design and testing, are immediately available. Additionally, TIBCO Cloud Messaging offers a new cloud native storage option that allows open source solutions like Apache Kafka to be fully managed in the cloud.

In a media statement on the news, TIBCO Connect and Cloud Vice President and General Manager Randy Menon said, “A connected digital business requires accelerated development and connectivity to reach its full potential. We’re raising the bar by accelerating digital native business priorities and empowering everyone in an organization to do so. We provide a single, cohesive platform that supports the adaptability required by digital businesses, helping organizations capitalize on data and insights to make real-time predictions.
