Microsoft plans to redesign some older aspects of Windows 11. Find out the details here

Microsoft is revamping the look of Windows 11, especially some dated aspects. Mainly, the shutdown window is set to get a makeover. In fact, users will see many changes similar to the Suggested Text and Paint improvements. The new changes will likely be in Windows 11 Build 25115, which is available in the Dev Channel. Those logged into the Insider program can access the change. It looks like the giant is planning to bring WinUI elements to older parts of Windows.

For the uninitiated, the current interface of the Shutdown dialog is identical to the one we saw on Windows 10. It has the new Windows 11 logo and rounded edges made famous by Windows 11, but not the “new » WinUI design. There will also be new icons when you’re in recovery mode, finally moving away from the rather basic look. As reported by Techradar, users will see different Windows 11 shutdown options, from a drop-down menu giving you the choice to hibernate, shut down, restart or put your PC to sleep, once you have pressed Alt + F4.

It looks like Microsoft is preparing to integrate more WinUI elements like Mica into the Shut Down OS dialog. From now on, Mica only applies to the title bar of Windows applications.

That’s not all, but Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25115 also brought a new feature called Suggested Actions to make certain tasks easier. For example, when a number is copied, a “dismissable inline light UI” is displayed with suggested actions such as making calls through Teams or other installed apps. Similarly, when the date or time is copied, calendar event suggestions will be displayed and an application will launch, based on the preferred selection.

Apart from all this, Windows 11 Build 255115 will also fix issues like system tray icon loading time, update voice platform to improve voice activity detection, And much more.
